So, people want to know what's up with my life. This is some things that are up with my life. It's not a real entry though. I don't have time to write real entries.

My two weekends class is this weekend and the first weekend in October. That means I am spending 25 of the 48 hours from five PM Friday to five PM Sunday in class1.

My afternoon is going to involve going to the health center to see if they fill prescriptions (and if not, hauling ass to CVS, because _I need Concerta this semester_), and studying for said class.

The rest of my class schedule is "mostly nonexistent" at the moment. It's a long story. Apparently two of the classes I was signed up for vanished? Monday morning I have an appointment with my advisor about All This.

I have moved all of my stuff into my room, and unpacked a very small amount of it. I have too much stuff, and will be attempting to sell2 or give away as much as possible3 over the course of the year. There may appear a new top-level post listing stuff that you should call dibs on, once I get around to it.

Ria is amazing, and geeky, and loves Doctor Who, and KEEPS THE SAME HOURS AS I DO. No, seriously, I've never had a roommate who was up later than I was. This is going to be the best year ever just for that. She also understands the care and feeding of introverts, as she is one, in very similar ways to me. Also, she can make a face like a catfish when she is distressed, and it is unfairly cute.

Dragon*Con was awesome, I enjoyed almost all of it, there were scandalous bits, there were not-scandalous bits, there was cosplay, and actually going to panels, and photoshoots. So yeah. It was good, I intend to go next year.

There was bingo Wednesday night, where I broke my streak of universally sucking at bingo and actually won one of the rounds. When I went up to the prize table, there were three baskets of various primping supplies, and a stack of books. Oh hai "Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" trilogy. How nice for you to come home with me and live on my bookshelf. Or, you know, in my bag so I can read you on the train4.

Anyways, I think I need to go be the supportive girlfriend now, as well as go to the medical center and see about getting Concerta. And study. And maybe eat a little bit of a something because I won't have time later. Oh yeah and later I should sort out clothes, and what I'm going to wear. And ahhhhhhhhhhgh.

MOOP!

1: Well, 22. Bad planning on my part. Skieving off for a thing that I am deeply unsure about, see also, Amanda Palmer is kindof an idiot sometimes, and I find her ability to not apologize for hurting people after they specifically call her on it to be a bit unconscionable. But the ART is awesome, and I've heard Cabaret is a hell of a show. So that's that.

2: Preference only because I am a broke college kid, and mailing things is expensive. I like giving presents otherwise.

3: Obviously there are things that I own and Love. But there are also things I own and merely like --I wouldn't want to just donate them to a thrift store, but I'd be happy to give them away to someone who would love them. Scarily, my uglydolls might fit in this category, which is awakening a whole new level of weird, because I have very complex feelings towards my stuffed animals.

4: I am getting better at this skill. It helps that Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is not quite as engrossing as Modesty Blaise, and therefore I don't miss my subway stop twice in a row. Not quite.
