Apr. 1st, 2010 03:35 pmI vaguely feel like last year I wrote an April Fools post in the style of my 2008 post only where every or most of the items were true.
(for what it's worth, when I made the 2008 post, I used it to point out that Mek and I were in fact dating, and having hot make-ups together. I don't think I said anything else so explicitly on the matter until 2009.)
I largely don't care, one way or the other. "oh hai guise I'm preggers" isn't really much of a joke, and the whole point of the 2008 post was to be so utterly over the top as to be entertaining.
I could spill my secrets under the guise of jesting, but what few secrets I have either belong also to others, or are dreadfully depressing. "oh hai guise, my emotional stability is really fragile and rests on the shoulders of far too few other people, lol!" is again, not exactly much of a joke.
So, my April is starting uneventfully. Happy birthday, Tekym. Smile at xkcd. Wince at gmail. Wash, rinse, repeat.
