First off, if I ever get to the point where I have as much tech know-how as Hobbit, I will be a happyKat indeed.

Also, I am amused and pleased that his goal with his car is to achieve 70 mpg.

Second off, uhm. Stuff. I like Persis's daughter, she is The Cool. Also, older than her age (Wait, you're 12? Really? Are you sure?), but not necessarily quite older than my physical age, which makes her wicked nice to talk to. Ahh, fandom children. :D

Third off, contra = kinda awesome and kinda intense and kinda a whole lot of things. Methinks that, unless I manage to somehow find some sort of brilliant SCD group in Mar'lind, I should harass the eight trillion people I know (Well, forexample, mostly) to drag me along to the Glen Mar contra dancing.

Especially since one of the guys at tech yesterday gave me a shocked look when I mentioned I had never been contra dancing before and I grew up in Columbia.

Sixth off, I need to make sure that I've wriggled my way into the hearts of the right people so that I don't actually have to pay for Balticon. Especially since I'm pretty sure I worked enough hours last year and everything. (Gyuh, hate allday Masque rehersals)

Seventh off, I'm pretty sure that if I don't go see The Full Monty next weekend, I will commit seppuku and Spence will set fire to my remains. So, anyone want to come with?

Double P.S: I've finally gotten onto the techno.fandom mailing list, which is good of me. Alsoalso, the wiki has a whole long list of what people's colours are, which is neat, and very slightly stalkerish, and reminds me that I need to establish a colour set of my very own someday. Wonder how easy it is to find orange electrical tape...

Buttons!!

You know what's fun?

Taking some of my massive collection of buttons¹ and pinning them to my skirt before dancing. We'll see if it's an actually workable idea.

Soyeah. Currently I have on my skirt, from top to bottom:

*Tiny, brightasfuckorange button: "Techie"
*Small white, black, and grey button: "I'm much cooler online"
*Red with yellow lettering: "Don't Panic"
*Nancybutton: "Friendly Introvert. Please say Hi."
*Yellow: "IITYWYGMAK"
*Nancybutton: Sneak sneak sneak sneak sneak sneak sneak POUNCE!"
*Grey button: "Give me a dollar, ask me why!"
*Orange button: "You Can Trust Me about as far as you can spit a live rat!"
*Blue button, silver lettering: "...well at least I'm cute"

Can YOU guess which ones were stolen from my mother?
