Ah, but see, your link is more about organization!pr0n, where I was referring more to being able to get past the walls thing and actually talk things out with people. Communicating is weird and scary and trippy and holy-shit-this-is-different and actually really really really nice.

There are some stores (Million Dollar Picnic, Joie de Vivre, every bookstore in the history of everything) where I feel exceptionally pleased with myself if I can manage to NOT buy anything. I really really like it when I can make my saving throw vs. things.

Well, I mean, I have that problem too.

But no, this was specifically referring to how much easier it is to deal with life and get things done with people if you stop skirting around subjects.

Also, that it's so much easier to stay over at someone's house if you go over knowing you're just going to stay the night. You can bring spare clothes and a toothbrush, four instance.
