Yeah, I'm having some vague struggle with the fact that I still have the Dresden Dolls and AfP in my regular library and I don't know if I'm ever going to wind up listening to it.1 It's not the "ethics" of separating art and artist, it's the literal "I think I might find it too oogy and be unable to listen" vs "but bangers where all the words are good to scream and they give me positive genderfeels".
But it's nice to hear that it's probably not even worth going back to listen to this one song. I do like a lot of trash (I might have an actual purchased copy of Honky-Tonk Badonkadonk somewhere) but it's just as easy to skip the stuff that I know isn't great.
I have just one of Eartha's albums and I'm not sure I've ever listened to it --one of the things I miss most about the great migration away from itunes is that in doing so, I lost all my _playcounts_ which in some ways is almost as frustrating as having lost all my playlists. Maybe I put her on for the next chunk of the project, since I've almost run out of Kate Nyx.

1: I would give actual genuine money for an artist I actually like to cover Oasis in the spirit it's intended, so I can have a copy that's not sung by Palmer. I probably do not have enough money for this, but jegus, that song was SO IMPORTANT to me for a very big chunk of my life, and it sucks that it's by her.
