Medialog Wednesday
Jan. 14th, 2021 11:22 pmWEDNESDAY MEDIALOG:
The media I have consumed in the last week includes:
*Finishing Good Place (there's a longer post, so I won't repeat it).
*Reading a skootch more of This Is How You Lose The Time War (I am enjoying the book but reading it _very_ slowly because reading is very hard these days.
*Five-ish episodes of the Taskmaster Podcast (slightly out of order --I started with s1e1, which was the 13th episode of the podcast, and then jumped back to episode 1 of the podcast which is s10e1. I'm quite enjoying it, and pleasantly shocked to have found a podcast that I can listen to --five episodes is by far my record, and maybe I can use this to listen to other good podcasts that I want to consume. (This is NOT a request for recommendations.)
*Some rounds of Heroes of Might and Magic 3, because I need low-brain serotonin hits and the two decades of nostalgia feels pretty good. I'ma have to figure out how to install the GoG version on my lappy at some point though, because Steam doesn't have any of the expansions or the ability to do random maps and just...nooooo I miss everything else.
*I read a _bunch_ of newspaper comic archives last weekend --notably, there's a new Cathy one-panel and an extremely cute hijabi slice of life on gocomics, and I've decided to start at the beginning of Luann, since I enjoyed reading the ~2008ish-current.
*And I'm still working on reading The Entirety Of The Comics Curmudgeon. I'm up to about February of 2013!
*I played about one hour of Animal Crossing which is the most AC I've played since probably September, and it was very nice. I got to run around with friends and catch my second-to-last bug for my bugpedia!

MOOP!
But Kat, it's not Wednesday! Okay? Half-Naked Thursdays were hardly ever actually on a Thursday. Time is fake even when it's not a pandemic
