Feb. 4th, 2020 11:11 amDidn't finish the book, despite predictions. Realized I was nodding off in the middle of a fearsome description, and turned out the lights.
Slept too long and didn't get out of bed very well. Wound up being only a "normal" amount late, which was still six minutes late. Unacceptable, but workable. :/
Calc class went mostly fine. Had the two-hour prep I get every three weeks, which was fantastic, since it took about 75-90 minutes to prep Data Analysis. Lost the rest of my prep to catching up on Dreamwidth posts. I am trying to read again, and I'm trying to comment frequently to indicate that. Shrug, sigh.
Now have half-hour of lunch which I might spend reading a book and not being stressed about computers like I was yesterday. Of course, that may lead to me having an insufficient number of computers when I need them, but whatever, that's hour-from-now-Kat's problem. I am not always kind to future!Kat, although I do genuinely like that framing in terms of mental health and self-care and stuff.
(Interesting that it's almost always future!Kat and only rarely future!Sor. I readily refer to myself with either name, after all.)
Post-school is an ophthalmologist appointment, a few years overdue, and very desperately needed since my glasses continue to be in three pieces from breaking them at Arisia. Been carrying the spares full time. I tried on the spares the other day for a brief while, and while it wasn't upsetting to wear them, when I switched back I felt briefly nauseous, so that's...yeah. I should probably just full-time switch to the spares right now. :/
Hope you're well! Tonight I get to go home and clean the house and be quiet and mellow and maybe prepare my lessons for the next day, wouldn't that be something. (Wednesday is always one of the hardest days).
