Happy Birthday to Mom!! YAY!!

Weird dreams last night. cut for kink, and then weird dream stuff )

Honestly though, the title "Babysitting at the Bondage Party" is now stuck in my head, and I *really* want to do something with it.

...Is there anyone who didn't click on the cut until they read that line? Because I really hope there is.

Anywho, I should really sleep one of these days, since I'm waking up early to make breakfast in bed for mom. I like that this was meant to be a birthday post, but pretty much is mostly just me babbling about dreams and sex.

What is the correct pluralization of " darlin' "

darlin's is wrong --it's something possessed by the darlin'. But darlins makes it seem like a pluralization of darlin, whatever that means.

...this is probably one of those cases where I should just suck it up, ignore my vocal accent1, and write "darlings" isn't it?

"Shan't" seems like it's improperly apostrophe'd.

You use apostrophes to substitute for letters, right? "Can not" becomes "Can't", where the apostrophe stands for the "no" of not. Do Not = Don't, and the apostrophe equals just that second o. o'clock is of the clock, where the apostrophe stands for "f the".

But "shan't" is shall not. Shouldn't the correct apostrophization be "Sha'n't"?

I am sometimes kindof weirdly dorky. Words are interesting!

1: I write with an accent. It's not always evident, but I will often figure out ways to write the "pahk the cah in Havahd Yahd" sounds I use half serious and half mocking or my bits of southern drawl. This is especially blatent in place names --Bawston, Bawl'more, New Yawk.

2: I know it's a link, but it's an amusing read. Go look at it, it's one of those things that makes me inherently happy.
