Oy, what a day...

Just put Sage and Pace to bed and am now abusing their internet...I like babysitting.

These two are VERY differnt from watching Koob...A LOT more energy I'd have to say.

Anyway, theres not really much to update about my life. No AIM which makes me sad since I'd love to continue that conversation I was having last night with Reth (BTW, Kat and Reth: I didn't log out on purpose. I went to get a drink, the computer logged me out, and then the parents came home, hence the reason I didn't say goodnbye. Also, if either of you are willing to send me a copy of that chat (if you have it) I will love you forever.)

So I'm just hanging out playing solitaire. And hearts. I really need to see if it's possible to get these back. hmmm...I wonder where my original installation CD's are...

Anyway, therese not really much else except for the fact that I apparently look like a young Inspy. I need to find a book and do it in the right pose...

It's not that theres no AIM, it's that this computer doesn't have AIM on it and I refuse to download things to my employers computers.

And you love the new avatar because it's this picture of this incredibly hot chick and everyone likes pictures of hot chicks wearing great hats.

Nope, not egotistical at all!

Buy a USB key (I got a 256MB one for...*thinx0rz*...NZ$50), and "install" Miranda (www.miranda-im.org) on there. As long as the computer is a windows box, it will run perfectly...although XP has been known to keep dangling threads around with some of the fancier plugins, which is annoying when you try to stop the drive (however I've had friends rip Mithrandir, my USB key, out of the drive without any adverse effect). Miranda will run AIM as well as other protocols for those of us who know that <a href="http://www.everything2.com/index.pl?node_id=771224>AOL isn't the internet</a>...including randomly obscure ones like Jabber, Gadu Gadu, SMS, Skype, Network messages, Tlen, Walla, Vypress, etc.
