My mouff feels weird.

My mouth feels very very...strange. There is a reason for this. The scientific name for that reason is something like "I don't have braces anymore WOO!"

Also, it's the closest non-Otakon convention to where I live. No logical reason why I SHOULDN'T go.

Plus, I even have a room! (This is why it's awesome to have geeky parents who have geeky friends. Mention that you don't have a room, and they're liable to be all "Well, I don't have a roommate, and since I'd just be paying for the whole thing anyways, you might as well stay for free.")

Yeah, it's HELLA weird.

But nice. And my orthodontists rule --at the end of the appointment, they handed me a water bottle filled with a whole heap of candy that you shouldn't eat with braces in. It was sweet!

that was the best feeling in the world. i had braces for 4 years. they told me i would have them for 2 and a half.

i can't wait to see pics. its so much fun to just rub your tounge over your teeth. SO SMOOTH!!
