You don't have to engage with them, and I'm trying to tag them --can you mute tags on Dreamwidth? Not sure.


OK, so I was vaguely aware that this was possible, but couldn't figure it out in 30 seconds, so now I've finally gotten off my butt to figure out how: https://www.dreamwidth.org/manage/subscriptions/filters

You can set up different reading pages with different subsets of the people, communities, and feeds you follow. But if you have a paid account, you can *also* add individual filtering for individual accounts. Details at the bottom of this post: https://www.dreamwidth.org/support/faqbrowse?faqid=76

So if someone wanted to do this, they would set up a filtered reading page that included all the people they wanted, then click [personal profile] sorcyress in the right-hand column, and a bunch of options would appear. They could select "none" for the tags drop-down and then click the "accomplishments" tag to select it.

Here's an example of saying I don't want "airplane noise" posts from the davis_square community to show up in my "Not in feed reader" reading page:
