So if someone wanted to do this, they would set up a filtered reading page that included all the people they wanted, then click sorcyress in the right-hand column, and a bunch of options would appear. They could select "none" for the tags drop-down and then click the "accomplishments" tag to select it.
Here's an example of saying I don't want "airplane noise" posts from the davis_square community to show up in my "Not in feed reader" reading page:
