sorcyress: Drawing of me as a pirate, standing in front of the Boston Citgo sign (Dumbly-dore!)

Solife!

Spent much of last night wandering around and further picturetaking. May do it some more today -after all, I should capture my adorable gothgirlness for posterity.

Or I could let you all SUFFER! Yeah, that works too.

My life seems all grand and exciting until I actually look at it. My rooms clean, sure, but what else have I done the past few days? Absativly NOTHING! I've lazed around on my bum and chatted with people online. Not that that's not fun, and not that I don't adore Thorog and Ksatyr and Kat and whatnot, but I need a life.

We did watch The Warriors though. And, speaking of ubercool, Mom found a group that's doing a scavenger hunt based on The Warriors, and I am in our gang! So I get to go up to NYC for a day to be a gang member! Rock!! (Speaking of which, Janny, you might not need to mail those books after all)

Also watched The Stand with Chris. It's an eight hour Stephan King novel based miniseries, and was much fun. I girled out and cried at the end, but I'm going to pretend that that's because it was all really well done, and not because I'm a sap.

Cool news of the recent past is that, while in London, I met a guy (GASP!) (Shutup) and actually got his contact info, because he was interesting. Turns out he lives in Virginia -that's right, one state away. Awesome coincidences for the wins!

Amusing news of the recent past was yesterday when Luna and Thorog, both of whom I was chatting with via GTalk logged out at practically the exact same time. I had a minor "Oh shit is GTalk going wonky on me? Can't be -Kat's still online" when both logged on and basically said something along the lines of "Guess what! If you close the GMail browser window, you close the GTalk window too!" It was amazing timing.

Speaking of which, I totally need to hang out with Pauli sometime soon. I love that girl dearly, and she has ART for me. Eventually...*laughs* I'm sure it'll happen someday, love. Alsoalso, mom says Cars is probably still showing in theatres so I *need* to go see it with you. If I can't have snarky "Wow Jack Sparrow is gay" commentary, I need to at least have my "PIXARLOVE!" commentary. Hmm, wonder if it'll still be around the day Snakes on a Plane comes out -we could make a day of it, besides the fact that movies are bloody expensive.

I'm running out of things to say, and besides, Truth or Dare with Kyu and our assorted denizens is eating my brain. Ciao! *does the Eddie Izzard buttwiggle thing*

We like the mooooooon! Cos it is cloose to us!

Also: lives are overrated. I know. Sometimes it feels like I'm trying to lead three at onc-MY INDEX CARDS!

*realises he's left his index cards in the kitchen, scurries off to retrive them*

ADD much?

Lives *are* overrated. But if you don't live one, then you haven't anything to talk about.

You know, I think I really miss out on a lot what with this Eddie Izzard thing.

You totally do. He's a completely fabulous transvestite commedian, and *amazingly* hilarious. Also, british, so he has the amazing accent thing to go with it.

*Makes a mental note to throw 'Dressed to Kill' in when she eventually comes over*

Good to know, because I was going to mail them today...

Umm... when is this scheduled for? If it's a weekend I may be out of town...

It's Wednesday the second. And, me being amazing at paying attention to my schedual, I'm also in town for the 12ish.

Heh, when you mentioned the Warriors I was about to go, "Hey, I heard about this thing..."

Then I saw it was the thing.

You can go watch the movie, too, ya know. It's free, even.

I'm lucky enough to live near the Alamo Drafthouse (best theater on the planet). Haven't been to one of the Rolling Roadshow movies, though. They play all across the country, going to locations from the films. My cousin's going to Clerks at the actual Quik-Stop up in Jersey. It's awesome stuff.

You what?! Oh that's so unfair! It's such a cool concept, and you *live* near it!

*shakes fist*

And yes, we're going to watch the movie too. But first, Alleycats, come out to plaaaa-aay!

You found a boy in London but didn't get me one!? Arg!

[identity profile] kdsorceress.livejournal.com 2006-07-30 12:16 am (UTC)(link)
He wasn't British.

Oh fine. When I *finally* get the cutegermanyboy picture for Veronica, I'll send it to you too.

Woo! I've got someone else hunting for boys in Paris and London for me, so I may not need this one.
