*studies it for a moment*
*gets a big black sharpie*
*writes in very large letters at the bottom "Computer that works."*
*puts down the list*

Serenity of my heart, my sweet little perfect macbook borked out. Hardcore borked out. BostonDave was helping me scan for updates, routine matinence, yada yada. So she decides that one of the updates isn't working, fine, we'll try again after the reboot. We restart her. She goes onto the grey screen and sits there. For a long time. And for the next ten or twelve restarts, all trying various things.

Long story short, Dave is a wonderful, wonderful man who will be bringing my baby to the mac-doctors for me tomorrow. AND he's letting me borrow an iBook, which doesn't have a built in camera or play DVD's, but besides that, is a sweet little computer. And the keyboard is really comfy. So yeah, silver linings and all that.

I should have Seren back by the end of the week. Still though, with the headdesks and the yarg and the "I was supposed to have a computer full of recockulously good music (want Dresden Dolls, whine!) to play with also: SIMS!" butno.

...Is it *wrong* to fall in love with a computer because of how smooth it is? Seriously, I love my baby to bits, but she's got a hard edge right where my wrists sit when I'm typing, and that hurts.

Soyeah. New computer for the next couple days. Fun. *sighs*

If I wanted to put up with this kind of crap, I would've gotten a dell.
