iCal
Okay, let me just say that iCal is pretty much completely awesome. Seriously, it is my new friend, and hell, if I've finally found something that'll keep me from overscheduling, that is an Excellent Thing.
Currently, I've got nine calanders that I'm using, all in different colours, because I'm anal like that, and because that makes it faster for me to figure out what's going on. Butyeah.
(((Explanation for the non-Mac people: iCal lets you set up different calendars, such as work, classes, fun. You can then view different combinations of them on your master calendar. Plus, colours!)))
Classes: So I can toss my class schedule and my finals in and make things nice and simple for week view. Also, I'm not entierly sure of what's going on with Tus/Thurs/Fri, but on Mondays and Wednesdays, I'm in class from one to five fifteen. Sigh. There go my hopes of doing the "freedom by one o clock!" thing. Classes is Orange
(I don't even get a proper balance out of it, as I *also* have a nine thirty class those days. No justice in the world, I'm telling ya!)
Schoolwork: For when stuff is due. It's a really ugly brown-green-yellow colour. Because things being due suck.
Lesley: For assorted things put on by the school, and social things I do with the cool college people. Very green.
Social: For assorted things that I want to do that *aren't* through the school, like SCD or gaming or hanging out with cool people. Bright frigging green!
Maryland: For important stuff back home, and relating to back home. Really pretty silvery blue --it was originally grey, but it got more blue this go-round.
Theatre: ...I'm kinda a theatre whore. So it gets it's own tag.
Hella Important: Which is actually a horrible classification. Basically, it's red, and the goal is to draw my eye to important stuff that I am very likely to forget about.
Random Personal Things: For...random...personal things. Combination "really important things diary" and "general information about me that I need to keep track of log" Red-purple, also known as pinkish.
And of course, there is my most important calendar-subset-thing: BIRTHDAYS!
If you suspect that I don't have your birthday listed*, drop me a comment telling me when the last time you had your head shoved through your mom's vagina. Unless you're into some sort of really kinky incest shit, at which point, I just don't need to know.
