It's because a) I was walking outside to get to the theatre and meet my friends outside, which I don't usually wear a mask for unless things are very crowded, so the lippy was legitimately useful there. And b) because I am extremely thorough about what I do with clothing. My underwear doesn't show either, but it matched too.
