I'm currently gestating an essay, or possibly a book, entitled "Marriage Is a Scam". I don't think it will disagree with you on any of these points (and will probably agree strongly on at least some); it's just kind of looking at the whole thing in a cultural bigger-picture kind of way, rather than a "what should I do given how things are right now and the culture and people and laws I am surrounded with" kind of way.
