Awesome. I've read the first...three, I think, and I really ought to get back in touch with my local source for them (both because I'd like to return the ones I have and borrow more, and because, well, I miss him dammit!)

I understand what you mean by the Dresden files having a more compelling world. Part of why I've been loving the Toby Daye novels is because they really do have a spectacular world to run around in.
