I signed up to write 750words a day for the month, forgetting that this is honestly a relatively boring month, even for just straight up journaling. Today I went to the doctor's, played Dominion, and antagonized my sister. Woo.

So!

What should I write about?

Besides my hair, I've done that already.

Write about the adventure you had yesterday on a train filled with circus bears.

The problem with exciting months -- for me, anyway -- is that they don't leave me with much time or energy for writing. Of course, I may be using a slightly different definition of "not boring" than you are.

Brainstorming for topics: why math is interesting? rationality, science, gender? what you want to do with yourself when academia is done with you? why the sea is boiling hot, and whether pigs have wings? whither, whence, and wherefore?

I'd probably be able to come up with a longer list if I didn't have to drive Benjamin to school now. Tally-ho...

I'm amused by blaisepascal's suggestion. Wish I had thought of it, but now It's Been Done.

Meta-Writing:
I presume you've written about writing and why you like it and why it is hard? (ISTR some comments along those lines in LJ, but perhaps all gathered together in one place would be good.)

Dance! Who, What, Where, Why, & hoW?

Driving. You seem to have fun with it. Why? What more driving do you want to do?

(You can read that as "Driving a car", or "Driving siblings crazy". Or both. :-) )

your favorite toy when you were a kid. your favorite toy now. (yes you have to pick *one*) Your favorite book when you were a kid. your favorite book now. And what all this says or means about you!
