I don't really think anyone's good at that skill, and if they are...well...they probably need the help a lot less than the rest of us honestly

Lies. These are the people who have a friend and have learned that that friend wants to hear how they are doing. They often need just as much help or more than the people who deal alone; whether they have someone they absolutely trust in that way isn't a factor.

The problem is that best friends are so rare.
