my thoughts on the whole "soulmate" thing.
there is one (or more, if you [and they] do that) person out there that is absolutely 100% everything downright perfect for you, and you are the same for them.
there are ~6 billion people in the world.
the odds that you will meet the above person are almost nil.

on the flipside, there are a whole host of people that are close enough to be decent-good, and, if you're lucky, then you meet and stick with them.
