Okay, so I still haven't gotten creative enough to catch up on scriptwriting. BUT! For some reason, every time I shower, more of this solidifies in my head.1

He narrowed his eyes slightly. "So, who are you, really."

MM smiled, that ernest friendly smile that Wendy Watson swore couldn't possibly be real yet knew it was. "I'm just the Middleman. And you are, sir?"

"Oh, I'm just the Doctor."

"The Doctor?"

"Yes." A pause. "The Middleman?"

"Yes."

The two men smiled at each other, as Wendy exchanged a nervous look with the strange other girl. This mission was not off to a good start.

Soyeah. Because srsly, if I could write a good fanfic DW/MM gen crossover, I would be such a happyKat. You have no idea.

MOOP!

1: Shuttup. It's not like that. It's not going to be porn. I mean, if it was, it would be the hottest. porn. ever, but it's not. Shower just serves as a convenient place to think about things, where I'm not doing anything else that requires any thought at all.

Yeah, I think about things in the shower, too. This unfortunately has the side effect that I sometimes get lost in thought and wind up taking really long showers.

So the decontamination room in MM HQ isn't going to be featured in this fic?

I write all my best plots in the shower. Some I write when I sleep, in dreams, but the rest are almost exclusively shower plots.

The shower is seriously the best place for writing ideas. I've considered putting, like, a dry-erase marker in there and writing on the shower walls, but about my luck it wouldn't come off for some freakish reason and we'd end up with my Great Idea permanently etched in place.

Sometimes I take showers specifically so I can brainstorm writing. It's ridiculous.

I only have one thing to say to that: omg OMG OMGOMGOMG!!!

This much is already very pretty mini-fic on its own. If more of it opts to crawl out of your head, I am very looking forward to it, but this bitty little scene is all by itself gorgeous.
