Fun facts about KNITTING!

1) Fun fur isn't.
2) Knitting and cats are mutually exclusive.
3) If you take it out of the package, it will tangle.
4) If you untangle it perfectly and leave it untangled, it will tangle.
5) If you don't touch it ever, it will tangle.
6) The biggest advantage to knitting a Whoscarf is that you don't have to worry about the colours matching.
7) If it looks like a pheonix, and feels like a pheonix, for the love of god, don't knit with it.
8) Red cups have more uses then helping to find out just how much is inside a keg.

More later, perhaps.

2) Knitting and cats are mutually exclusive.

I may have to steal this.

Also, pics! Pics! Because at least you'll do better than I did at knitting.

I use a red cup to feed the crickets!

as i'm working on getting my knitting skills up to snuff, would you like a multimedia/camera cosy?

i try to avoid knitting with fun fur by itself... well, except when doing scrunchies... though i crochet those... hrm..

Never Mind. >.>

Yeah, Fun fur is kind of a pain to work with. Also, it gives me blisters if I work with it exclusively for too long (sensitive skin). I should've warned you! The best way for keeping it (mostly) untangled is to dig into the center bit and find the middle, and very gently work with it from there. And it also helps to finish your project all at once, so the ball doesn't have time to mess itself up. There's a reason it's on sale :)

Take the time to reroll the skein into a ball. It is much easier to draw off what you need while avoiding tangles.

Unfortunately, I did. Which is, in my opinion, a big huge waste of time. But on the plus side, I can actually use the yarn now. :p

Luckily, I'm not using exactly funfur -it's kinda feathery. Besides being a different colours, it looks a bit like This (Big image, sorry)

It's not too bad, but tangles incredibly fast.

What, like a bag to hold things? I can *always* use more bags to hold stuff!

*grins* You've *seen* pics. I'm just adding onto my Whoscarf.

Yes, I will get you more recent pictures sometime in the near future.

I use it to spool yarn.

Hmm... you know, I think my empty kite-spool might be better suited to that than a cup.

Most likely, yeah.

Unless, of course, you like using the cup.

Not really. It got a bit, how do you say...crushed.
