I wake¹ up this morning to Emily standing next to my bed being all "wake up, Kat"

Me: "bleh why what time is it?"
Emily: Dunno, like, eleven eleven² or something? But you have to get up. We made cinnamin rolls and sausage. They're downstairs.
Me: ...you are the best. roommates. ever.

So yes. My roommates are awesomer than yours, and I have a snow day. Today is pretty fucking awesome.³

Grr to you. I didn't get breakfasts. Nor did I get a snow day. Oh, the college is closed and none of the admin staff is here (so I can't turn in my application for a major, buy stamps, take a make-up midterm, or have important appointments), but I still have to trudge up to campus to class.

::grumblegrumble:: I wouldn't be nearly so bitter if the snow was just sitting there pretty-like instead of being blown about by the wind and stinging my eyes. And it's all tirerim's fault!

Well, I didn't get sausage or cinnamon rolls, but I did get a bowl of Cheerios. And I had to go to work, but I got my car cleaned off for me! So... yeah, I think things worked out okay, yay!

My "roommates" woke me up trying to get me to make the cinnamon rolls. At my insistance, they started doing it themselves, but needed help with the oven. They were yummy.

... um, yes, the cinnamon rolls, not my kids.
