I get cold quite easily, and am most comfortable at an indoor temperature of probably 78ish, which no one is ever willing to set their houses at. It means this heat wave is hitting me less badly than many people, and I am very grateful for that.
Solidarity! [fistbump]
I went out for a (short) walk yesterday noon-ish, and I'd been sitting at my desk long enough that it took me halfway around the block to thaw and I didn't really sweat much at all, despite it being 100 degrees and 82% humidity.
(Though, I've gotten noticeably more cold-tolerant in recent years, I suspect due to being on thyroid meds for long enough for my system to adjust. Not to the level of "average US resident", but less drastic than before, which is pleasant.)
