You know what's weird? Creepy frigging dreams that decidedly *aren't* nightmares.
I fluctuated, between being a Dexter-esque serial killer and being his silent observer. There was at least one and possibly two other killers running around, all three in varying states of stable. And there was blood, though not from me/Dexter --we certainly wouldn't stand for *that*.
(I think the Dexter thing was just me filling in the most recent serial killer I've read about. I haven't wikihopped the crazies in a long time.)

So, I've been watching TV, occasionally.
I'm about a third of the way through season five of Daria (Last season!!) It is heartily excellent, and I do the Sandi voice waaaay too well. I want to know what happens neeext. Predictions: Daria and Tom are going to break up in 'Is It College Yet', in order to go their separate ways. Jane and Daria will split up to go to different colleges, and they will HUG! Quinn will continue on her path of not being a ditz, and maybe we will even get that guy from 'Is It Fall Yet' to date her. Also, there will very likely be some sort of storyline in which Daria and Tom contemplate, and possibly get with, the sexings.
I've also been watching Buffy, with Veronica. We're not nearly as far along with that, but we did get up to the halfway point for season two, which is nice. : Angel and Buffy are totally going to bone. Those cowboy brothers (The Gorges?) are going to return, mostly because they are *awesome*, although only one of them is slightly less awesome. The bug-assassin-guy is not going to come back, which is sad, because he was hott (yes with two t's). Willow and Oz are going to have sloppy make-outs in the season finale. Drusilla...I don't know what Dru is going to do, but I suspect I'm going to like her a lot less now that she doesn't have the crazies. Spike remains tall, dark, and angsty --yay, no Spikification yet! Oh, and Kendra will NEVER EVER RETURN, BECAUSE THAT WOULD SUCK A LOT!
Please don't confirm or deny any of the above. Well, I mean, actually go ahead. I don't really care.

Yesterday was utterly utterly awesome. I went on a picnic, and wandered around, and rode busses, and was introduced to a wicked pissah comic shop (THEY SOLD ME EXCELLENT SECRET THINGS FOR PRESENTS!) and bought Transmetropolitan, and Y the Last Man, and that 'Three Septembers and a January', which is my absolute favourite single issue of Sandman, and eee!!
And I borrowed the first volume of DeathNote, because, well, if I'm going to get into Teh Animes, it seems a good one to start with. Hey, at least it's not Sailor Moon.
Annnnnndyeah. Gotta go to work now, or this post would be longer.

on 2008-08-15 03:59 pm (UTC)As far as Buffy... Angel and Buffy bone, disasterously; I don't remember the cowboy brothers or the bug-assassin guy, so I assume they didn't come back. Willow and Oz become a couple, climaxing in the 3rd season finale, but I don't know when they start having make-outs. Drusilla.... I like Dru. I wouldn't say she doesn't have the crazies. Just, different crazies. What do you mean by "Spikification"? Spike is always tall, dark, and angsty. And Kendra NEVER EVER RETURNS.
DeathNote... If you are likely to dream about serial killers... DeathNote will give you interesting dreams.
