So, I don't watch videos online very often. I generally need to get half a dozen links to something before I'll give in and see what it's about.

I don't really know what made me click on this one --Cracked.com's twitter linked it, and I went "what the hell" I guess.

It's a web-miniseries. Called There Will Be Brawl. Think of it as sort of a noir story about the Super Smash Brothers Brawl universe.

Yeah.

*yeah*

It could be so absolutely terrible, but it's just not. It's absolutely damn *fabulous*! It makes me desperately wish I had a better grasp of the canon of all these characters --not being a huge video game player, I only know the basics. But it's wonderful and dark and grown-up and fun.

They say they hope to get new episodes up the second Friday of every month or so. *crosses fingers!*

So, one of the many nice things in my life that I haven't gotten around to mentioning over here was that Magus bought me a pair of kitchen knives.

His goal was pretty much to get me some knives that were good enough to let me learn how to use and care for real-person knives, but not so good that it'd be heartbreaking when they (inevitably) get broken or lost or ruined or stolen by the roommates or whatever.

This is part of his conspiracy to teach me how to cook or something like that. It will never actually work, but having functional food-prep equipment is certainly a good thing. And what do you know, they're nice knives! I wanted a grapefruit, I grabbed the smaller one, made a quick cut, and bam, I had two grapefruit halves, all ready for the eating. (mmmmmm!)

Soyeah. Knives. That's about all.
