Aug. 25th, 2008 10:57 amSo, I'm ready for a post that's more than a few lines long.
Life is not at all bad, and very possibly good (quick, don't tell the fates, or they'll eff it up!!) I'm in Boston, which is of course, the best thing ever. Yesterday's adventures involved going on a long walk, hanging out with Magus, visiting a tag sale (where I bought a present for Veronica and a book that *may* be for ShadowKevin and may just be for me.) and having mango curry over at Sugar and Spice.
((Most Favourite Fruit in curry? Yeah, that was an excellent plan. I reccomend it.))
Then I came 'home' (to Boston Dave and Diane's) and wound up playing video games with Miles and the boys from next door. I utterly fail at MarioKart for the wii, but I really really enjoy the little steering wheel for you to put your wiimote into. At RockBand, I am, of course, queen of the drums!, and so had a good time at that. Oh! And I sung Blondie's "Hangin' on the Telephone" on medium and got 100%!! I like it when I find karaoke that is relatively in my range.
Soyeah, RockBand continues to rule. And I played a little bit of Portal --I may have to go back and start from the beginning and just play the damn thing all the way through. Except knowing me, I'll probably get distracted starting in the third level by trying to knock ever single security camera off the walls or something.
Annnnnnndyeah. Today I am going to sort out some schoolstuff, go to Harvard Square, possibly buy the second book of Transmetroplitan and definitely get some revised bus schedules, and go dancing. Woo!
